10) Ferrari Enzo – 217 MPH
At one time this was the ultimate Ferrari. It is powered by a V12 workhorse with 660 horsepower. There are only 399 of these cars in the world. This was the fastest Ferrari to lap the test track, but the 599 GTO has since beat that time. This Ferrari typically trades above $1,000,000 at auction, making it just as expensive as the Bugatti Veyron.
9) Jaguar XJ220 – 217 MPH
The XJ200 held the record for the highest top speed of a production car at 217 mph until the arrival of the McLaren F1. The XJ220 shares a name with the normal XJ, but the two aren’t related. Under the hood was a 3.5 L V6 with twin Garrett T3 turbochargers, generating 542 bhp. BBC Formula One commentator Martin Brundle drove the car to 217 miles per hour.
